In 2017, Dermasurgery Center merged with Sanova Dermatology, where Dr. Prather continued his commitment to patient care. Now, he’s returning to his roots with the opening of derma, offering the best of both worlds - comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, along with his expertise as the only fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and dermatologist in the Baton Rouge area for advanced skin cancer treatment.

Dr. Chad Prather is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon by the American Board of Dermatology. He holds licenses in five states and is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with years of experience in skin cancer treatment and cosmetic dermatology.
He is a trusted doctor who has performed over 35,000 Mohs surgeries and tens of thousands of procedures across south Louisiana. Dr. Prather combines advanced techniques with compassionate care to deliver outstanding results.
